Examination and Promotion

There are two terminal examinations for the junior! Section (L.K.G.-V) and for the senior section (VI onwards) during each academic session to register their progress. Besides these examinations monthly tests are also held regularly.
1. The children should come to school in time on days of examination.
2. Children should bring their own pencil, ruler etc. borrowing will not be allowed.
3. Except for the writing board or pencil box, nothing else should be there on the table of the children.
4. Talking is absolutely forbidden in the examination hall. In case of doubt the child is to direct his queries to the examiner present in the room.
5. Promotion to next class will be made on the basis of the average marks obtained in the terminal examinations.
6. The pass marks for each subject is 40% and it is compulsory that the students must pass for English, Maths, Hindi, Social Science, Science & Technology.
7. Regular attendance is expected from each student if a student does not have 75% of attendance for the year, he/she will not be permitted to appear for annual examination and promotion.
8. Pupils who are absent for any of the examination due to sickness should submit doctor’s certificate at the earliest during the examination period.
9. No examination will be held before and after the time schedule.
10. A student who takes or gives dishonest help at an examination/test will be debarred from the rest of examination and he/she will be marked as zero. Such a student may be dismissed from the school.
11. A student who fails twice in the same class may be asked to leave the school.
12. A student who misses any paper of the any of the terminal examinations is not eligible to get any rank/grade in the examinations.
13. A failed student forfeits all claims to concession in the school fees.
14. Application for the verification of the marks in special and rare case may be considered at the discretion of the principal, within 7 days after the declaration of the result.
15. If a pupil is not able to appear for the whole or port of an examination, for a valid and accepted reason, he/sher case could be considered on the strength of the year’s record, specially the monthly tests.
16. The decision of the school authorities on result shall be final and is no case shall lie in any court of low in respect of their decision.
17. Promotion refused will not be reconsidered.
18. The result declared at the end of academic year is final and cannot be reconsidered.
19. If a student does not appear for annual examination, he/she will not be promoted.
